Monday, March 01, 2010 I'm just back from a short getaway trip to bintan with Candy & Cynthia (25 - 27 February). Share some experience with you guys. Cause when i did some research online, i notice quite a few people said that it's expensive over there. I did keep my budget within $500 (with ticket and room). But for the 3days, we didnt had time for our lunch at all. Haha~ what w Remember to apply more suntan lotion, to prevent sunburn like me! *OUCH~!* Now my shoulder and face start peeling liao. I got few nickname from my colleague, lobster / orh lu lu / lilo. -_-" But i still miss the sun and beach over there~! Day 3 (27 February) - Buffet style breakfast at Nirwana Beach Club Restaurant. The omelet taste alot better compare the one we had the day before. - Horse Riding Activities at Recreation Centre. (It cost $6/round, $15/3rounds) Only me dare to ride on it. =X Anyway, I opt for the 3 rounds. Feeling quite nervous for the 1st round, but after that was ok and the guy was holding to the string altot he did let off a few times. Great experience! Funny, they were suppose to let me sign the agreement form before it. But i sign after i finished it!?? - Last min shopping at their largest Souvenir Shop  - Jet Ski ($50/Jetski @15mins) Candy & Cynthia decide to share it, so i had it alone! I love it so much, when i was speeding. The in-charge said i did well. Haha! So i went online to check how much it cost in singapore, the price was ok. But had to obtain Powered Pleasure Craft Driving License if wanna ride alone. -_-"  - Back to Singapore.  Cynthia's. Wanna to get this too, but can only get 1. It's special cos the picture of the building is at the inside back of the bottle. It look like it's printed on top of the bottle.   Day 2 (26 February) - Breakfast at Nirwana Resort Hotel. We got to pay extra (around $4.20 cause we are not staying at the hotel it self.) But not very nice thou. - Mini Zoo Located right behide the Resort Hotel. - Jacuzzi at Rest Hotel pool - Spa under Aura Spa and Health Centre ($55/pax - for Massage, Body Mask & Body Lotion) Was surprise that they send a car to fetch us to and from (7-seater) the location. 1st time doing massage and i feel like dying, don't enjoy at all maybe due to my sunburn. So small size, but strength so strong. O.O! - Pasar Ole Ole Quite an interesting place, sell quite alot of 'branded goods'. I would recommened if you wanna buy drinks/tibits/cup noodle. It's not expensive as people complain 1 cup noodle cost $4. We bought tibits, vodka, drinks, ice cream. Bought 1 pair of slipper at $15 in one of the shop.    - Dinner @ Resort HotelHighly recommened for their international buffet! Totally worth for the price. There's party for every friday and saturday near the beach, but we didnt went in the end. Day 1 (25 February)   - Departure at around 11:10am - Check in at around 2pm  - Head to the beach for suntan and played with water after putting down our stuff - Kelong Seafood Restaurant Highly recommened too, altot it's not so cheap. Nice view to see sunset. - Recreation Centre Wanted to go to the KTV, but wrong place. (if you wanna try for the free 1, it should be the one located at Resort Hotel) In the end we still went ahead which cost ($30/hr + 1 jar of coke = $56) Was kinda irriating when the staff there suddenly pick up the mic and asked if she could sing 1 song while we were choosing the drink. It become more irriating when she requested for another 1 more song. Shit her~ Bintan is one hour behide Singapore time. (The pics will be upload at FB.) |
